Location:
- 2 kms east of Rithaura and 4 Kms. from Barsana or Nandgaon.
General Description:
It is in the midway between Barsana and Nanagaon. It is within Nandgaon block, chhata tehsil.As per census 2001 village population is 1960 with total 298 households. Agriculture is the main source of income.
Cultural Significance:
This is known as Adhi Van. Radha and Krishna meet here through passing singnals (Sanket) to each other.They performed mainly the midnight pastimes here. Gopal Bhatt Goswami and many other Goswamis did Bhajan here for long time.
