Ter Kadamb Kund, Nandgaon.
Ter’ in Brajboli means ‘to call’. It also means ‘crooked’. As eventide neared, Krishna and Balaram would climb upon the hoary and bent kadamb tree and call out to all their cows and bulls and calves in the pasturelands. Krishna had a separate set of notes he would play on his flute to summon each herd of cows and they would respond and gather around the tree, ready to follow their guardians’ home.
