Pawan Sarovar, Nandgaon.
Paavan Sarovar means The purifying lake. This is a very large lake, which was used by Nanda Maharaj and his household for swimming. Krishna would also bring his cows to drink water and swim in the kund. It is also said that Radha would come and cook for Krishna on its banks every morning, presumably the packed lunch that Krishna took with him as he went to graze his cows in the nearby fields.
Chaitanya Mahaprabhu spoke of the spiritual significance of this kund saying— it emits such sacredness that even a bird flying over it will be purified by the essential and inherent purity of the kunds water. It removes the sin of all those who bathe in it.
