Here Krishna used to rob milk and yogurt from the Gopis.That’s how this village came to be known as Dahgaon,an aberration of ‘Dadhi Gram’.According to Garg Sanhita the Gopis of this village used to go to sale out their yogurt, but due to a love for Krishna they would say in the streets that—take Krishna, take Krishna.So it is famous as Dadhi-gram. A small fair is also held here every year in the month of Bhadra.
