It is located at 2 kms south to the village Pakharpur. 14 kms from Barsana.

As per census 2001 village population is 2556 with total 344 households. Main source of income is dairy farming and agriculture. BPL families 66.

Here is the main temple of Vaishnavi – the Kuldevi of Krishna’s maternal grand father Abhinand Gop. She is called Sanchauli. At the time of Chaitra Navratra (April) a big fair is held in this village in order to worship Kul-Devi. Devotees come from far out villages for nine days and this place gets crowded with enhanced attractions.
