Kadauna
Location:
- It is located 2.5 kms south-west to the village Hulwana. It is also near Gidoh on way to Kamar.
General Description:
As per census 2001 village population is 2561 with total 411 households. Main source of income is agriculture. BPL families 83.
Cultural Significance:
Krishna accepted yogurt in the leaf-cups in this village with his friends. At that time the cups got short and someone shouted loudly to bring more cups. This is the reason behind the name Kadauna. Dauna means leaf-cups. This village is also connected to Maha Raas Vasant Panchami festival is widely celebrated by the villagers.
