Here Gopis arranged marriage of Lalita and Krishna. Lalita was singing songs of union of
Radha and Krishna. At that time some girls tied the knots of Lalita’s cloths to Krishna’s cloth, without her notice. Then they started chanting the mantras of wedding and showering flowers uponthem. Knowing the situation, Lalita tried to escape from there, but show could not do it dueto the hard knot tied to her cloths. All other Gopis jubilantly surrounded both of them, confirming the successful marriage. Thus this place is known as Lalita Vivah Sthali ( the wedding point of Lalita). A big fair is held here every year on Bhadra Shukla Dwadashi.
